The title to this post comes from an article of the same name found in August's Ensign, which I just received in the mail yesterday (which is not yet online at ensign.lds.org or I would have linked ya up hehe).
It features artwork depicting the joy of scripture study, and i love the scripture included in the article, is Doctrine and Covenants 128:19. . .
The below verse is from an epistle by the Prophet Joseph Smith to the Saints, dated September 6, 1842. I love love love this verse!!!
"Now, what do we hear in the gospel which we have recieved? A voice of gladness! A voice of mercy from heaven; and a voice of truth out of the earth; . . . glad tidings of great joy"
